All the content on this site is written by me, unless otherwise noted.*
That brings about an important question: Who am I?
I am both a writer and a teacher of writing. My students rarely share my enthusiasm for writing, and one of my main goals as a teacher has always been to empower the students to view language as a tool, as something they can command and control, rather than something intimidating.
The goal for this site is two-fold:
1. To provide information, guidance, and encouragement for writers to transform thoughts into words on the page without their force getting lost in translation. ["Tips for Writers"]
2. To provide interesting and entertaining writing on a variety of topics. All of the articles located on this site are my own original creation, and the topics/types of writing vary widely, from commentaries on popular culture to fiction and even poetry. ["Inside My Mind"]
To reflect this two-fold goal, the site has two main sections: “Tips for Writers” and “Inside My Mind.”
Feel free to take a look around!
